Due to harsh conditions, mining requires very robust sealing solutions. Resistant to HFA, HFB, HFC fluids or mineral oils. Wipers and guides specially adapted to the sealing system complete the range.

Mining Seals

Mining seals are mostly very robust rod and piston seals made of NBR, HNBR, FKM with fabric reinforcement or PUR, resistant to flame-retardant hydraulic fluids such as HFA, HFB, HFC fluids, water or mineral oils. Wipers, guide elements and O-rings are also included. All components are characterised by their very good suitability in rough operating conditions.

Our customers benefit from our comprehensive technical know-how and many years of experience in sealing applications in this industry. The parts are used for hydraulic components in boring and shield support as well as for pumps and valves.

Wiper with flush housing end, snap fit. Description
The wiper 1A1 is universally applicable and particularly suitable for applications in which a flush housing end is tobe achieved. Depending on profile width and diameter, snapfit in closed and undercut housings is possible.

Temperature PUR - Hydraulic Oils (Mineral Oil Basis): -35 °C /+100 °C
Temperature PUR - Water, Emulsions ≤ 50 °C

Snap fit is dependent on the profile width and diameter in the case of the materials POM, PA and PE.

Also available in special sizes at short notice from current production.

The wiper 1A5 is universally applicable and suitable for all applications in general mechanical engineering. Depending on profile width and diameter, snap fit in closed and undercut housings is possible. Pressurisation against the back of the wiper should be prevented. In the PUR version, the wiper 1A5 is particularly suitable where increased wear resistance is required.

The NBR wiper 1A6 is particularly suitable for applications in mobile hydraulics and mining where the penetration of dirt and moisture must be reliably prevented and at the same time the compensation of high radial tolerances is required.
