Fabric shaft seal WG4

Description
Fabric shaft seal for heavy machine construction.

The Profile WG4 resp. WG4-S combines the characteristics of radial lip seals and face seals wich enables the use of just a single seal instead of a rotary shaft seal and e.g. a v-ring.

WG4-S is provided with an additional sufficiently robust dust lip to prevent the penetration of foreign bodies into the sealing system.

Shaft seal with back of fabric for heavy machine construction with friction optimised sealing lip.

The radial seal type WGT is used for rotational sealing of shaft lead-throughs.

Common areas of application are, for example, heavy machine construction, transmission construction and shipbuilding as well as the paper and aluminum industry. It has particular advantages in any application where corrosion, large diameters and difficult assemblies could be a problem for traditional metal case seals!

Description
Fabric shaft seal for wind mills

The radial seal type WGV is especially used for rotational sealing of shaft lead-throughs in wind mills, but is also deployed in heavy machine construction, transmission construction, shipbuilding and wind mills.

It has particular advantages in any application where misalignments and vibrations can occur! The back of the seal is made of a fabric reinforced and high resistance elastomer, specifically modified for the exceptional requirements of wind mills. The highly flexible sealing lip is supported by a coil spring.

Fabric shaft seal for wind mills

The radial seal type WGW is especially used for rotational sealing of shaft lead-throughs in wind mills.

It has particular advantages in any application where corrosion, large diameters and difficult assemblies could be a problem for traditional metal case seals! Type WGW is characterised by a finger-spring which ensures a uniform distribution of pressure on the shaft by the highly flexible lip of elastomer.
